Go Wild For Africa - Sharing Amazing Antics From The Continent...

Tired of the same old adventures:(

Starting in February, as part of our "Go Wild Online" campaign we'll be showcasing some of the less predictable options in Africa, courtesy of the Acacia Wild Bunch!

Going beyond the tried and tested pursuits, we’ll leave you with some inspiring ideas, so you can book that once in a lifetime “rave reservation” on the continent.

You can also vote for your favourite options, which will be featured under our new “Go Wild For Africa…” photo album…or add your own experiences into the mix!

So, if you’re a dare devil when it comes to adrenaline or an adventurer who likes to do things differently then feel free to mosey on down to our Facebook page and share some of your more out there pursuits and pix…

Most memorable moments on tour?

Seeing a leopard in the Serengeti carrying its prey, sleeping out under the stars, on the rocks at Spitzkoppe in Namibia. Also, swimming in the Devil’s pool at Vic Falls – it’s a pool at the top of the waterfall – amazing scenery and the water around you is disappearing over the edge to fall over 100m!

What would you say to someone thinking of coming on tour?

Don’t hesitate and just go – it will be an experience of a lifetime.

Where’s the next adventure?...

Round the world trip maybe….

Our next Africa addict is Alice Allen from the UK. Her travel motto “The more you put into a trip, the more rewarding the trip becomes!” Catch up with Alice and get a taster of our South West Safari heading from Livingstone to Cape Town next Friday 17 July…

Watch out “tweeps” as we’ll also have also have our 5-day “Voluntour Tweet” starting on 23 July, with commentary coming live from “Andy, the great outdoorsman from the veldt".  A guy who can’t get enough of Africa, Andy will be crashing on the continent and giving adventurers the low down on our anti poaching voluntour in Zimbabwe.

Get the low down on Africa from our experts...

Listen up bloggers and blogettes, as now is your chance to get the low-down on Africa.  We’ve got friends pitching in from across the continent – giving you their expert comment on everything from hip and happening music in Nairobi, to the best kit for overlanders and playing it safe as a traveller. Grab yourself a coffee every Wednesday, as this will be your opportunity to catch up with our Africa pundits.

First up is Arjen Koopman, Editor of the Kenya Advisor – the independent Kenya travel guide. If you want to stay safe in Kenya, this is one “Africa addict” who knows the wildlife capital like the back of his hand.  Catch up with him here this Wednesday 08 July.

We also thought you’d like to hear more from Acacia’s fans so watch out for our regular highlights. "Real Wanderers On The Continent," will appear every Friday…and will feature real tours and real people who are really addicted to Africa!

Alex Zelenka from the Czech Republic is lucky when it comes to leopards. Go overland and head from Nairobi to Cape Town with Alex, this Friday 10 July.

We’re happy for you to offer up some hints too. If there’s an Africa topic you’d like to bang on about – we’d like to hear it…don’t be shy – send us a “twip” (tip) or two on Twitter or Facebook

Looking to get published? Now you can be part of our new real travel online campaign and pitch in with stories from across the continent. If you've travelled with us – all you need to do is answer our short Q&A (link) and send us a pic.  Email us atinfo@acacia-africa.com...

If you really love Africa (we do!) – we’ll also be giving you the low down from some of our tours on Tuesdays.  Starting today with undiscovered Egypt…
